講者介紹：

Assoc Prof Jeremy Lim is director for global health in the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore and leads the initiatives in health systems strengthening and universal health coverage.

He brings diverse and unique perspectives having spent substantial time in public and private healthcare across Asia as well as in policy advisory with Singapore's Ministry of Health, the World Bank and the World Health Organization.

Outside academia, Jeremy serves on the boards of various for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in different aspects of healthcare including migrant worker health, end of life care and digital health interventions. He trained in surgery and public health, attaining post-graduate qualifications in both from the UK and US.

In this sharing, Associate Professor Jeremy Lim traced the evolution of the Singapore health system through the lens of healthcare financing and delivery and discussed how Singapore has managed to spend less than 4% of their GDP on healthcare and still achieve good health outcomes.

He also examined the recent policy changes in response to population aging including the shift to capitation & the newfound emphasis on preventative health.

林方源副教授透過醫療保健提供及財務的角度來追蹤新加坡衛生體系的演變，並討論了新加坡的醫療保健如何在僅花費不到GDP的4%的情況下，同時達到良好的健康結果。他也探討了新加坡最近針對人口老齡化的政策變化，包括按人頭付費的轉變以及對預防醫學的重視。
